Calgary-Buffalo Fundraiser with Joe Ceci and friends at the Blues Can

You may have heard the iconic Blues Can in Inglewood will be closing in early 2025. The Blues Can is an anchor of Music Mile in Calgary, and it has been one of my favourite local music venues over the last 14 years. You can often catch me two-stepping on a Tuesday night to Tom Phillips and the DTs, or connecting with locals and tourists alike on the patio on a summer’s day.

To celebrate the end of an era of wonderful local music, I’m hosting my annual year-end fundraiser at the Blues Can with two of Calgary’s favourite artists: Steve Pineo and former Calgary Poet Laureate Wakefield Brewster.

Join me and the Calgary-Buffalo team on Wednesday, December 11 from 7-9 to raise a glass, celebrate Alberta’s Arts and Culture, and help build towards the next election.
