Dear Friends,

Since 2015, it has been an honour to fight for Calgary as part of Alberta’s New Democrats. I continue to work every day to deliver real results and build a stronger future for our community and our province.

Right now, that future feels under threat.

Instead of focusing on strengthening our economy, improving public services, and supporting Albertans, we’re hearing louder and more reckless calls for separation from Canada. The UCP and Danielle Smith continue to flirt with dangerous separatist rhetoric that puts Alberta’s stability, economy, and reputation at risk.

Let’s be clear: during an affordability crisis where the average Albertan is struggling, separation would mean economic uncertainty, lost investment, weakened pensions, and instability that workers, businesses and families simply cannot afford. It would put divisive politics ahead of jobs. Ideology ahead of healthcare. Division ahead of prosperity.

Albertans don’t want chaos.
We don’t want constitutional crises.
And we certainly don’t want to gamble our children’s future on a separatist experiment.

What Albertans want is leadership focused on affordable living, quality healthcare, strong schools, and responsible, diversified economic growth.
