Happy Summer, Calgary-Buffalo!

After an exciting leadership race we are thrilled to welcome former Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi as the new leader of the Alberta NDP and the future Premier of Alberta! With record-setting voter turnout and nearly 73,000 votes cast, we are excited for the direction of our party, hopeful for the future of Alberta, and eager to welcome Naheed to Calgary-Buffalo soon! We’re going into the summer with optimism and excitement, and to build on that momentum we have a few events and opportunities to share with you.

Many of the folks who receive this newsletter are brand new members of the NDP, but whether you’re a long-time supporter or new to the crew, we want to make sure you feel the love! You can always email [email protected] with questions, concerns, or ideas for how to keep our supporters engaged.

In our last newsletter we explained what the heck an EDA is and does…but in case you missed it, an Electoral District Association (EDA) carries the torch between elections by doing voter outreach, fundraising, hosting events and more! Our next meeting will be be online on Tuesday, July 16 at 6:00PM. If you’d like to attend, please respond to this email or reach out to [email protected] to get the link. An agenda will be sent to folks who register.
